We are back at Tracey's in Nanaimo. Had a great time in Port Hardy. looking out the window and seeing the ocean all day long was wonderful. We saw the whale, hunted for treasures on the beach. We also saw the biggest, ugliest slugs in the forest. They are called banana slugs and as Sarah put it, that's their name because they are so "freaking" big. Jeff and Connor left this morning at 5 to go salmon fishing again. We are meeting them in Qualicum beach for lunch. We are back Monday morning, I can't believe how fast time is going.
Paulette, thanks for ordering me the book, you know I would want one for sure. Gayle, Sarah would like the chocolate chip scone recipe she made in family studies. Do you have it at home?
Annie, hang in there the rabbits will go home soon.
Take care everyone

Way-To-Go Sarah!!!!!!!!!
500ml flour
125ml sugar
15ml baking powder
2ml salt
125ml cold butter or marg.
1 egg
150ml milk
125ml chocolate chips
Mix dry together.Cut in butter.Mix wet together.Add to dry and form a dough.Add chocolate chips. Knead lightly 5-6 times.Form a circle.Cut into 8 even wedges. Bake at 425 for 15 minutes.Enjoy!!!!!!!!
*LIGHTLY grease the baking sheet**
You may need a bit of extra flour when you pat these into a circle if it's a humid day.The moisture in the air may make them stick. You can also use a floured rolling pin.
Have fun.
