The Cysteine Chapel, what an incredible and beautiful place. It was amazing. We came out with a kink in our necks from looking up the entire time you walk thru. It is difficult to comprehend that that was all painted so long ago. It would take days to go thru and really see all the specific paintings.

Last night we had book club. OMG (msn lingo) we laughed. I think book club is a great form of an abdominal workout because we laugh so much. Of course Myleta's "minwax" incident was brought up a few times. What a good sport you are Myleta. Debbie introduced us to the "virtues project" and if the world lived with all those virtues in mind every day, what a great life we would all have. Have a great day.

Here we are in, can you guess......London, in front of the Tower Bridge. Pretty cool. That was way back in Oct and it seems like so long ago now. I am in the process of putting together all our photos, imagine having 3 cameras over there, we have hundreds of photos. (note: the bad hair is because I could not plug in my flat iron!!!) I feel like working on this because I went to a class at Two Much Fun, my favorite store today. A card making class, and when I leave there I always feel so inspired. I don't know how Paulette and Ria can continually create the projects they do. What ever the magic they have makes me want to keep scrapbooking and spending more money. Now for all those looking for words of wisdom (Ria)

Feeling better here today. Connor is eating again and is on the dance pad so I think he is on the mend. Thankfully he slept thru the night which means I got to sleep as well. I don't really miss those "up all night with the baby days". Here is a photo of us on Xmas eve. You would think as a scapper, I would have made sure our outfits matched. But I'll be happy I actually got a family photo. Seems like that is so hard to do.

Day 2 of Blog and day 2 of the Flu!

Things are not going so great with either. Connor is still sick, he woke up at 1:30 this morning and was screaming about his head hurting so much. I almost took him to outpatients because he was really scaring me. Finally he settled down and threw up about every hour. So I have not had any sleep since then. I am taking him to the doctor today. I can't figure out how to put things on my blog yet and don't really have the energy to play with it yet. Oh! I just figured out how to add pictures. That is a picture of Connor with "hair"iet. The hard working game award for his hockey team. And a photo of Sarah on New Years Eve. Well better go call the doctor.
PS: if you are reading this blog for great words of wisdom you are in big trouble.

I finally did it! A Blog. One of my resolutions for 2007, and actually the only resolution I have attempted. But that is true for most resolutions right? It is so cold today, -29 with the wind chill. A good day to stay at home and look after a sick boy. Connor has some kind of flu, you know the vomitting and really bad headache kind. What can I say he is truly a man! If you know what I mean. He is so cuddly when he is sick and I am worried about catching it from him. We spent the weekend in Pictou, Connor had 2 hockey games. The team they were playing has only lost two games all year so we were not expecting very close games. But the boys pulled together as a team finally and won both games 4-2. Connor even hit the post on Sun when he got moved up to forward. He is still waiting for that first goal this season, hard to do when you are defense. Sarah went to Moncton with two of her friends to their hockey tournament. She had a great time and came back tired. The highlight of her weekend was being in the hot tub at the hotel with Taylor Crosby, Sydney Crosby's sister. She would have rather it was Sydney. My boy is calling I better go see him.
